Pressure Cooker Black Beans

Ingredients

  • 7 cups water
  • 1 lb dried black beans
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bouquet garni
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Equipment

  • Pressure cooker

Instructions

  • Combine water, black beans, bouquet garni, onion, salt and olive oil and stir together in pressure cooker.
  • Cook on high (2 atmospheres) for 40 minutes. Take off heat and allow to depressurize naturally.
  • Remove lid, add balsamic vinegar and stir in.
