Paleo Lamb Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground lamb
  • 1 onion
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 4 cups keto pizza sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Add all the ingredients except the sauce to a bowl and blend well with your hands.
  • Heat a large skillet on medium high heat.
  • Form and shape the meatballs with your hands.
  • Cook the meatballs in the skillet for 5 minutes.
  • Flip the meatballs and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Pour 2 cups of pizza sauce on the bottom of the baking dish (9×13).
  • Transfer the meatballs to the baking dish and pour the remaining sauce on top of the meatballs.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and serve. Enjoy!
