Payne Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 large yellow onions
  • 2 lb chili meat (I use ground venison)
  • 2.5 oz Fiesta Quick Chili Mix (1/2 the bottle)
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp corn starch (or 1/2 tsp xantham gum)
  • 3 (14oz) cans of diced tomatoes
  • olive oil

Instructions

  • Chop onion and sweat down in oil.
  • Add meat and brown
  • Add tomatoes & juice, quick chili mix, ground cumin, and corn flour. Simmer as long as possible, at least one hour.
